Scottsdale, AZ – Fatal Pedestrian Incident at E. Via Linda and E. Mountain View Rd

Scottsdale, AZ (June 03, 2022) – On Tuesday, March 31st, a woman died after she was struck by a car in Scottsdale.

According to officers on the scene, the fatal pedestrian crash occurred at about 7:00 p.m. in the area of East Mountain View Road and East Via Linda when a vehicle struck an adult female pedestrian for reasons still under investigation. 

The driver of the striking vehicle stayed at the scene and cooperated with the investigation.

Impairment and speed have been ruled out as factors in the accident. 

It is unclear if the victim died at the scene or after being admitted to the hospital. Her identity is currently being withheld.
