Phoenix, AZ – Unidentified Pedestrian Fatally Struck by Car at N. 28th St and E. Van Buren St

Phoenix, AZ (May 05, 2022) – A man died after being struck by a car in the area of East Van Buren Street and North 28th Street on Wednesday, May 4th.  

Police say the victim, whose identity has not been released, was crossing Van Buren Street when a sedan hit him.

The pedestrian was taken to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead.

The driver remained at the scene, and impairment has been ruled out as a factor.
