Compensation for Traffic Accidents in Arizona
When one vehicle collides with another and the occupants of the non-striking vehicle are injured, there are many forms of compensation that can be sought. A few of the more common kinds of financial compensation are:
- Property damage: If your vehicle or other property is damaged, such as a laptop that was in your trunk, you may be able to collect reimbursement for the costs associated with repairs, renting another vehicle, or for the cost of your vehicle in full if it was totaled.
- Medical expenses: Medical expenses amass quickly after a rear-end accident, particularly when you consider that the most common injuries produced by rear-end accidents include whiplash and traumatic brain injuries.
- Pain and suffering: These are intangible damages caused by your injuries that directly impact your quality of life.
- Lost wages: If you sustained significant injuries, you may be unable to work for a period of time. This causes your situation to become even more trying as medical expenses continue to pile up.
If you were injured in a traffic accident, you should seek the advice of a Phoenix vehicle collision attorney from Saavedra Law to determine what forms of financial compensation you may be entitled to from more than one party.
