Phoenix, AZ (April 29, 2022) – A man was killed during a head-on collision on Friday, April 29th near an intersection in Phoenix.
The accident took place at about 4:20 a.m. in the area of Cactus Road and 56th Street when a sedan and an SUV collided head-first with one another.
The driver of the SUV, 43-year-old Chad Hunt, died at the scene.
The adult female driver of the sedan is hospitalized in critical condition.
A third vehicle was damaged in the crash, but the driver was unharmed.
Impairment is not a factor in this accident.
Traffic in the area was diverted due to the investigation.
