Glendale, AZ – Cyclist in Life-Threatening Condition After Truck Accident at N. 67th Ave and Bethany Home Rd

Glendale, AZ (August 29, 2022) – A cyclist from Glendale sustained critical injuries on Monday, August 29th when a truck hit him in the area of Bethany Home Road and  North 67th Avenue.  

According to law enforcement, the man was riding his bicycle southbound inside a crosswalk on North 67th Avenue at about 4:20 a.m. when he was hit by the driver of a truck heading eastbound along Bethany Home Road.

The driver stayed on the scene and is being investigated for impairment.  

The intersection was closed until around 9:30 a.m. 

The investigation is ongoing.
