Traffic Collisions in Arizona
If the victim of an Arizona car accident dies due to their injuries, the legal perspective concerning the case has now changed in such a way that certain surviving family members are entitled to file a claim of wrongful death against the person responsible.
When successful, wrongful death claims have the ability to generate settlements or awards that are large enough to financially compensate the victim’s surviving relatives for:
- Funeral and burial expenses/Cremation costs
- Lost earnings the deceased would have contributed to the household
- Loss of companionship
Some common forms of financial compensation include medical and hospital bills, damage to personal property, lost current and anticipated income, diminished enjoyment of life, pain, and suffering.
