Fatal Motorcycle Accidents in Arizona

Riding a motorcycle is a common pastime in Arizona. Arizona is home to several national parks and expansive highways that are perfect for an afternoon trip on your motorcycle to explore the state and have an adventure. Motorcyclists are entitled to share the roadways and other drivers must watch for motorcyclists and respect their space.

Unfortunately, motorcycle accidents are a frequent occurrence on Arizona’s roadways. Motorcycle accidents are frequently caused by the negligent actions of the other drivers sharing the road. Speeding, distracted driving, driving under the influence, poor weather and road conditions, and tailgating are among the common factors leading to motorcycle accidents. Motorcyclists are especially vulnerable to incur serious injuries or death if an accident does occur, since they lack the basic safety features commonplace on vehicles, such as seat belts and airbags. Severe injuries can include brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, fractured bones, deep wounds, soft tissue injuries, and burn injuries, and these injuries will require extensive medical treatments.

Being involved in a motorcycle accident can be a life-changing event, which can impact your life for years to come. Injuries can be life-altering for not only you but your family as well. Anyone involved in a motorcycle accident due to someone else’s negligence should speak to an experienced motorcycle accident attorney who can walk you through the process and help you understand your rights and what you may be entitled to. If a negligent other party was the reason for your motorcycle accident, their insurance company may owe you compensation for your injuries and other damages, including medical bills, future medical expenses, lost income, motorcycle repair or replacement, and other non-economic damages you’ve suffered, such as emotional trauma, pain, and suffering.

There is nothing more devastating than the unexpected and sudden loss of a family member especially if the accident that took their life could have been avoided. When you lose a loved one, we understand that no amount of money could replace that person’s presence in your life. Filing a wrongful death suit against a negligent party can ensure that your deceased family member gets the justice they deserve and can help you to cope with their loss.

The insurance companies will want to settle early and will try to convince you to accept less compensation for your injuries, so it’s important to hire a dedicated and qualified attorney from the beginning who will fight for your rights and negotiate with the insurance company so you don’t have to. Contact an Arizona motorcycle accident attorney to see how we can help you.
