In order to secure recovery for damages in the wrongful death of a loved one, a wrongful death case can be instigated by a surviving child, spouse, or parent against the liable government entity, person, business, or any other party that behaved negligently, maliciously, recklessly or in such a manner as to bring about the death of the victim.
Most often associated with fatal accidents, wrongful death claims stem from things such as bike accidents, motorcycle accidents, truck accidents, car accidents, job site accidents, or accidents involving a defective product.
Surviving relatives could be entitled to collect compensation for their loss. Certain damages, like medical costs and missed wages, are ubiquitous in Arizona wrongful death claims. There are other potential damages, however, that will be unique to each claim and will hinge on the claimant’s familial relationship with the deceased.
If you would like to know how much financial compensation you and your family might be entitled to, is essential to have a reputable lawyer by your side; one who is dedicated to offering you support and advice throughout the legal process.
