Phoenix, AZ – Two Dead, One Critical After Single-Vehicle Crash at 35th Ave and Thunderbird Rd

Phoenix, AZ (March 01, 2022) – Two people died and a third was taken to a regional hospital following a car accident on Tuesday, March 1st. The collision took place at about 2:30 p.m. near the intersection of Thunderbird Road and 35th Avenue in Phoenix.  

According to police, a red car crashed into a wall near the intersection. Two victims died at the scene. A third victim was transported by EMTs in extremely critical condition. 

Several powerlines were also knocked down during the accident causing an outage in the immediate area. 

Officers are working to determine the cause of the crash.
