Wrongful Deaths Claims in Arizona
Most frequently associated with accidents, wrongful death claims typically stem from bike accidents, motorcycle accidents, car accidents, truck accidents, workplace accidents, or accidents caused by faulty products.
In Arizona, a wrongful death case may be filed by a surviving spouse, child, or parent against the liable entity, business, or person that acted maliciously, negligently, recklessly, or in such a way as to cause the death of the victim.
Surviving family members are usually entitled to collect financial compensation for their damages. Some damages, such as medical expenses and lost earnings, are omnipresent in wrongful death claims. There are other types of damages, however, that are specific to each claim and hinge on the claimant’s familial relationship to the deceased.
