Phoenix, AZ (June 05, 2022) – Two adults and a 9-year-old girl were left with critical injuries following a serious collision between a U-Haul truck and an SUV in Phoenix on Sunday, June 5th.
Phoenix fire crews said that the crash took place in the area of East Jefferson Street and South 20th Street in Phoenix.
Upon their arrival, responders discovered a U-Haul lying on its side with an SUV resting on its cab almost head-first.
Of the five people involved in the incident, two of them required extrication from the SUV.
A woman, a man, and a 9-year-old girl from inside the SUV were all transported to hospitals in critical conditions.
The driver of the U-Haul also sustained injuries but is currently in stable condition.
The events leading up to the accident have not been released.
