Officials said one man was pronounced dead at the scene. Another man was transported by paramedics to a nearby hospital with critical injuries. It was not made immediately clear which victim came from which vehicle.
Bell Road was shut down between 3rd Street and 3rd Avenue.

We would like to offer our deepest condolences to the family of the deceased victim at this time. Our thoughts are with the injured victim and their family in hopes of a full recovery.
In Arizona, a wrongful death claim can be brought only by a surviving spouse, child, or parent against the person or entity that behaved r in such a manner as to lead to the victim’s death. Most wrongful death claims in Arizona have their origins in auto crashes, pedestrian or cyclist collisions, injuries resulting from defective products, and work site accidents.
The above-listed surviving relatives are often entitled to pursue recovery for their damages. Some damages, such as hospital costs and lost income, are fairly constant in wrongful death cases. There are other kinds of recovery, however, that are unique to each individual claim and depend largely on the claimant’s association with the deceased.
