Phoenix, AZ – 16-Month-Old Dies After Pool Accident at 51st Ave and Bell Rd

Phoenix, AZ (June 18, 2022) – A 16-month-old boy passed away at a hospital after he was pulled from a pool in the area of Bell Road and 51st Avenue on Friday, June 17th. 

Emergency crews were dispatched for reports of a child drowning at about 5:40 p.m. 

According to officials, the boy was pulled from the pool after he was discovered. His family began administering CPR before responders arrived.

The child was taken to a local hospital in seriously critical condition where he died a short while later. 

No additional details have been made available.
