As an injured passenger, an auto insurance company is certain to play an important role in recovering financial compensation for your losses. The rules governing these kinds of accidents are complex, so victims need to speak with an attorney as soon as possible after being injured as a passenger in a car accident.
In nearly all motor vehicle accidents, determining the at-fault driver is of utmost importance. When a passenger is injured, however, the compelling odds are that liability lies with the driver of their vehicle, the driver of another vehicle, or some outside condition over which a passenger has no control or legal responsibility.
Due to this, passengers normally have no liability in an accident. The important question for them is which person and/or insurance carrier is responsible for their damages, including hospital and medical bills, lost wages, pain, suffering, and other losses as well.
