Wickenburg, AZ (April 11, 2022) – Two people lost their lives as a result of a motor vehicle accident in the Wickenburg area, according to reports. At around 4:30 a.m., on April 11, emergency crews were dispatched to the scene of an auto accident on US Highway 93.
Reports provided by the Arizona Department of Public Safety show that a collision involving a pickup truck and two commercial vehicles occurred on the northbound lanes of US Highway 93. The incident caused delays in the area of mile marker 177. The impact of the crash caused the semi-truck, which was hauling cars, to catch on fire.
Two people involved in the accident were fatally injured. Both victims were pronounced deceased at the scene.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
