Tolleson, AZ – Woman Killed, Two Kids Injured When Speeding Driver Causes 99th Ave Crash

Tolleson, AZ (July 26, 2022) – One woman was killed and several more, two of whom were children, were hospitalized after a speeding driver caused a serious collision on Tuesday, July 26th in Tolleson. 

According to sources, at about 4:00 p.m., a man was speeding down 99th Avenue when he crashed into a crossover SUV carrying five people as the driver was attempting to make a lefthand turn onto Interstate 10. 

A woman was ejected from the SUV and died at the scene. 

Both children were transported to Phoenix Children’s Hospital in non-critical condition. The two remaining adults were also hospitalized in serious condition. 

The speeding driver sustained only minor injuries and remained at the scene.  

Police said that impairment is not a factor in the incident.
