Scottsdale, AZ – Injured Worker Rescued After Rooftop Accident in Maricopa Co

Scottsdale, AZ (June 10, 2022) – First responders and fire crews assisted in the rescue of an injured construction worker off the rooftop of a building in Scottsdale on the afternoon of Tuesday, June 7th. 

According to officials, the worker sustained an unspecified leg injury.  

Fire departments from Phoenix, Scottsdale, Tempe, and Glendale were all dispatched to the scene. With the use of a ladder truck, crew members were able to lift the injured man into a basket and deposit him on the ground without further incident.  

The victim was then loaded into the back of an ambulance and taken to an area hospital for medical care. His condition and the circumstances surrounding the accident are unclear.
