Wrongful Deaths Claims in Arizona
In Arizona, a wrongful death case can be brought by a surviving spouse, child, or parent against the liable entity, business, or person that acted maliciously, negligently, recklessly, or in such a manner as to bring about the death of the victim.
These surviving family members are normally eligible to collect financial compensation for their damages. Some damages, such as medical expenses and lost earnings, are omnipresent in wrongful death claims. There are other kinds of damages, however, that are unique to each claim and hinge on the claimant’s familial relationship to the deceased.
