Goodyear, AZ – Teen Riding Bicycle Fatally Struck at Elliot Rd and Cotton Ln

Goodyear, AZ (April 26, 2022) –  A 13-year-old boy died following a hit-and-run incident in Goodyear on Tuesday, April 25th. 

According to sources, the eighth-grade student from Estrella Mountain Elementary School was riding his bike home after school when he was struck in a neighborhood in the area of Cotton Lane and Elliot Road at about 3:00 p.m.  

The child was transported to a local hospital in grave condition.

In an update given at 8:30 p.m., officials confirmed the boy did not survive his injuries.

Police are actively searching for the driver.
