Car Accident In Peoria, AZ Leaves One Dead

Earlier this week a car accident in Peoria County, AZ between a car and a motorcycle resulted in the death of the motorcyclist. The 40-year-old man riding the motorcycle was headed west on Lancaster Road while the 54-year-old woman driving the car was headed east on Lancaster when she attempted a left-hand turn into a parking lot, striking the motorcycle as he headed west. The car driver was given a driving citation for making an improper turn into oncoming traffic. The motorcyclist was brought to the hospital and declared dead later while at the hospital. The name of the deceased has not yet been released as notifications need to be made to the family.

It is not yet known whether the family of the motorcyclist will file a legal claim for damages against the woman who was driving the car and, according to the police report, appears to have caused the accident that resulted in the death of the 40-year-old man riding the motorcycle.
