Camp Verde, AZ – Charles Mann Killed, One Injured in Vehicle Crash on I-17 at MM 302

Camp Verde, AZ (June 04, 2022) – On Saturday, May 28th, a fatal two-car collision took place on Interstate 17 in the area of Camp Verde.

The accident took place at about 1:10 a.m. in the southbound lanes of the interstate near mile marker 302 and involved a gold Saturn Vue. 

The driver of the Saturn Vue, who has since been identified as 19-year-old Charles Mann, a resident of Mesa, passed away due to injuries he sustained in the crash.

His passenger, 19-year-old Taylor Ross, a resident of Chandler, was taken by paramedics to a nearby medical facility in non-critical condition.  

The driver of the striking vehicle fled the scene after the fatal crash.
